Overview
At SubHQ, I led product design for a startup building jobsite ops tools—bidding, scheduling, asset
tracking. I created the design system from zero: component library, Figma prototyping, and UX flows
built to scale with the product. It never launched, but the work was real and intense.
What I built
- Full UI component library in Figma (tables, forms, modals, drag/drop)
- UX flows for bidding, scheduling, asset handoff
- Prototypes for internal testing + investor decks
- Documentation for dev teams + future handoff
- Modular design system supporting web + marketing
Collaboration + process
- Worked directly with CEO and PM to shape product UX
- Ran weekly feedback loops with engineers
- System evolved with shifting business needs—fast and modular
Why it didn’t ship
The product was strong, but funding didn’t close. Still—this was some of my sharpest work:
fast-paced, constraint-heavy, and built for scale from day one.
What I owned
- UX architecture
- Visual system
- Figma prototyping
- Design handoff
- Branding
